The achievement will unlock after picking up the Rune. Once the room has been drained, turn around and you will find a Rune atop a wooden crate. You can now switch back to the present, jump through the hole, grab the wheel and attached it to the pipe on the left-hand side of the flooded room, and crank it to drain the water. Take both of them out however you'd like, grab the red crank wheel in the display case to the left of where they were, and then throw that wheel into the hole in the wall (the same hole one of the guards was looking through). Time travel back to the past and you will notice two guards in the room ahead. Hug the left wall and make your way downstairs into the basement. Pass through the sealed doors on the left-hand side of the courtyard and you will emerge into a large, debris-filled chamber. Use the key to open the locked door, time travel to the present, turn left, and hop out of the broken window (beware of the hound in this courtyard). Move towards the back of the kitchen and down the small corridor. Make your way all the way to the top where the Nestkeeper is. Time travel to the present, loot the cabinet directly in front of you for a key, then return to the past. You dont go in the smaller hole, you time warp to the past where the. Upstairs to the right of the black market you see an infested building. Take the first door on your right in the hallway and you will find yourself in a kitchen. This achievement also constitutes the special action Leaky Basement for the mission's score.This achievement can be earned during Mission 7, A Crack in the Slab.Īfter obtaining the Timepiece from The Outsider, leave the room via time travel, similar to how you would for the " Under the Table" achievement, and remain in the past (with the manor fully restored).
Also note that draining the water in the past means the bloodfly nest is not destroyed, thus is still there in the future. Note that this action can only be done if the present has not been altered from the past, regarding Aramis Stilton's fate. Recovering the rune from on top of the crate in the future will complete the achievement. In either year, the wheel must be attached to the axle and turned to open the vent and drain the water. Afterwards, the wheel has to be moved to the other side of the door in this room, but whether this is done in the past (by throwing it through the door) or future (by collecting it from the floor in the past and swimming with it into the other room) does not matter.
To do so, first enter the past using the Timepiece and grab the crank wheel near the brick wall of the sealed room, then throw it through the small opening. In Stilton Manor during the mission A Crack in the Slab, Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin has to recover a Rune from a walled off part of the basement after draining it.
Flooded Basement is an achievement/trophy in Dishonored 2.
